Investigators from the Shelton Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance as they attempt to track down a woman who allegedly stole a purse and used a credit card that was inside.

On Friday, Nov. 16, investigators said that a purse was stolen from the Outback Steak House in Shelton. Following the report of the stolen purse, a credit card that was taken from the purse was used in the area.

In response, investigators released surveillance photos of the woman, and the white SUV she was driving when she allegedly used the stolen credit card. Anyone who recognizes the woman or her truck has been asked to contact detectives at the Shelton Police Department by calling (203) 924-1544.
